January 2017 Newsletter

When I became a lawyer, I had a hard time getting used to how things slow down during the holidays. When I was growing up, my parents owned a chain of grocery stores, and the only days we closed were Christmas and Easter. Other than that, the holidays were the busiest time. In the legal field, everything practically shuts down from the second week in December through the second week in January. It's good in a way — it's time to get caught up.
